Toshiba’s Brake Motor series consists of definite purpose, TEFC, and NEMA Premium efficiency motors all of which are supplied with a reliable holding brake.  These are engineered to meet the needs of general holding applications and these motors are built to withstand some of the toughest operating conditions. Toshiba is known to offer some of the highest efficiency and torque ratings in the industry, while producing some of the lowest vibration ratings which leads to exceptional reliability.

WEG Brake motors consist of a reliable disc brake coupled to a high durability induction motor, forming an integrated, compact unit designed to rugged engineering specifications. The unit is TEFC and has the same performance characteristics of their general purpose motors. The brake is constructed with very few moving parts which ensure durability and lower lifetime maintenance costs.
